On Sunday 31st May we said a very warm thank you to Rev. Tony Foley for all the work he had done with us over the last five years. We will miss him, but look forward to "New Beginnings" (the theme of his final service). Tony and Yvonne will continue to live within our community and we look forward to sharing their company in our churches and at church events. (You can read his letter announcing his departure here)

Looking forward the future isn't clearly mapped out ... yet, but this page will endeavour to keep you informed of progress as we explore our options and move towards recruiting and inducting a new minister for West Tweeddale Parishes. As a start we have been assigned an Interim Moderator: Rev. Graham Astles who is based in Penicuik North, and he will be supported by Rev. John Urquhart of St. Mungo's, Penicuik (part of Penicuik Trinity Community Church).

An interim morderator is appointed by the Presbytery (in our case Lothian and Borders Presbytery) to lead a parish during a ministerial vacancy, exercising the powers of an inducted minister while guiding the congregation through the transition.
